Terra Ryzing & Triple H's Blue Blood Characters (WCW & WWF)

The Terra Ryzing name was used by Hunter in the New England area before he jumped to WCW, and while in World Championship Wrestling Triple H's character would evolve from Terra Ryzing to Jean Paul Levesque. Jean Paul Levesque was the brainchild of Ric Flair; Flair thought Hunter's real surname would lend itself into a French aristocrat gimmick, and this would lead to Hunter performing some very awkward promos (seeing as he didn't speak French at all). Terra Ryzing and Jean Paul Levesque in WCW would help Hunter's initial WWF character through, the original Hunter Hearst Helmsley took a lot from Hunter's past gimmicks in WCW - though real success would come when Hunter ditched the Blue Blood stuff in favour of a more reality based persona. #WCW #TripleH #WWF
