In post-war Philippines in the 1950s, Corazon and her doting husband Daniel live in a secluded village where the people are close-minded and judgmental. The couple resorts to mysticism to conceive a child. When she gives birth to a stillborn, Corazon’s mental state deteriorates into insanity, and what follows is a vicious killing spree of the villagers’ children.
