Karnataka State Cricket Association president Venkatesh Prasad wants all Royal Challengers Bengaluru matches to be played at the iconic M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, calling it a true cricketing heritage of the city. KSCA has reportedly requested the Government of Karnataka to allow RCB’s home games at Chinnaswamy. However, the state government has formed a committee to review the situation. A key decision is expected on March 13 after an inspection and security mock drill at the stadium. If everything goes smoothly, the stadium is likely to receive approval. According to analysis by Rahul Rawat, out of RCB’s 7 home matches, around 5 matches could most likely be played at Chinnaswamy Stadium this season.
