Marcel "Babysumo" Gaines (black shorts) fights Abbas Ahmadi for the Z-1 63.5kg Championship at Mahusri Hall on Langkawi Island, Malaysia on the 1st of November 2013. Abbas is a highly accomplished fighter and multiple time world champion. Despite being only 18 fights into his fighting career, Marcel was undaunted and took the fight to Abbas from the opening bell. After 5 rounds of pushing Abbas back and landing solid punches, kicks and throws, Marcel (and most people watching the fight) were confident he had won the fight. However the judges gave a controversial decision victory to Abbas. Marcel's next fight will be for the PK-1 title on the 18th of November in Phuket.
