Amazing movie with strong performances. Huge resemblance to The Fighter,Charlie Hunnan just as Bale steals the show in here! Family and its meaning define the movie!

Not what i expected, and to get the wow out of this piece of cinematic brilliance id advise you to bypass trailers and synopsis. its a gritty down-to-earth film involving two brothers and a questionable young lady, gangsters and bare knuckle boxing along with a gripping road trip across country. the direction is top form, camera work excellent, on point acting and the casting is just perfection! dont miss out on this gem that ridley scott had the foresight to produce. a brilliant storyline that plays with every emotion.

Keeping it short. I had high hopes for this one, but so glad I did not have to see it at the cinema. What a depressing and sucky movie. Some might say it's so "deep and beautiful" well, I say bull*hit! This was just a waste of time, even with a pandemic outside. Boring and gave me nothing but a bad mood. Honest opinion, I feel a 4/10 is being generous

I don't really know what else to say. This film was a really touching experience watching two brothers struggle to make a dream in order to have something in life. But in the process, perhaps becoming misguided and lost in the journey. Charlie and Jack really do a great job of conveying these conflictions and emotions on screen and you can't help but yearn for their ambitions to work out too. I'd recommend.

Probably isn't the worst but it sure is up there. Unappealing low life characters flounder around for 90 interminable minutes ( though I barely saw 20 overall ). Final tedious, horribly staged fight has O'Connell getting knocked down but then getting back up after what seemed like a 10 minute count and then beat his opponent who seemingly just gave up. Utter trash. Hunnan is slumming here. Avoid.
