Accused unjustly of the death of his wife, Luis (Federico Amador) escapes from Patagonia by taking his baby. Only a teenager is witness to the escape. Already in the city, Luis adopts a new identity and remakes his life. They spend 14 years and Luis decides to fulfill an old promise he made to his daughter: finish high school. There, in the night school, he finds love again in his teacher, who is none other than Luciana (Calu Rivero), that young woman who saw him flee years ago.
